Long (Hiệp Trần Nghĩa), a Vietnamese driver from Southern California, receives a late-night request for a ride. Already in his pajamas, he reluctantly agrees, taking the man, Tây (Dustin Nguyen), and his two companions. But the men, recently escaped from the Orange County Jail, take Long hostage at gunpoint, forcing him into their escape plan. When complications arise, the escapees and their hostages hide out in a motel, and a tense waiting game begins.
